I came across the havana rex last year by accident when i bred 2 black rexes. Half the litter came out black and the other half were "brown" after speaking to a few people i found out they were actually havanas. I decided to keep 1 and show her. She had a great coat, she was slightly pale in colour but she needed to be more bulky as havanas have a slightly different standard to a rex. I managed to get a buck and doe from a breeder and from there ive started my own line this year. I have 1 sliver diploma so far.
